i have a fear of public speaking.
for the longest time, i had this terrible stutter that came up whenever i was anxious, and my father would constantly ride me on how i sounded like a broken record and how i wouldn’t gain the respect of others around me.
i’ve spent years trying to fix my stammering, and i found that the best way is to just not care what strangers thought about me. you don’t even know them, and they don’t know you. bad thoughts just weigh you down.
